Principal Solution Architect

About the role

Supermicro is looking for a Principal Solution Architect to join its fast‑growing server division in the United Arab Emirates. The role bridges customer needs and product development, shaping the roadmap for high‑performance storage and server solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Design and document comprehensive use cases for rack, power, and cooling management within software products.
• Lead software design decisions that maximise data‑center space utilisation, power efficiency and cooling performance.
• Analyse customer environments, translate requirements into architectural designs and identify technical gaps.
• Drive technical solutions that align with business objectives and customer expectations.
• Collaborate with product, production, sales and field engineering teams to ensure seamless execution.
• Act as a customer advocate, feeding back insights to improve products and processes.
• Create reference materials such as user guides, troubleshooting scripts and runbooks.
• Improve internal workflows to increase efficiency for both customers and internal teams.

Required profile

• Minimum 15 years of experience in solution architecture, data‑center operations or related fields.
• Proven ability to influence software design and drive cross‑functional projects.
• Strong communication and project‑management skills.
• Track record of delivering complex technical solutions for enterprise customers.
