Processor – Central Operations

About the role

Emirates Islamic Bank is seeking a Processor for its Central Operations team in the United Arab Emirates. The role focuses on validating and processing operational transactions while supporting branches and internal business units, ensuring strict compliance with regulatory and internal standards.

Key responsibilities

• Validate and process operational transactions in line with approved policies and service standards.
• Provide operational support to branches and internal business units.
• Ensure compliance with internal procedures, controls, and regulatory requirements.
• Manage account identification and closure activities according to guidelines.
• Handle cheque return activities and related processes within agreed timelines.
• Liaise with internal stakeholders and support teams regarding documentation and processing requirements.
• Resolve day‑to‑day operational issues and respond to business queries promptly.
• Perform reconciliations and maintain accurate operational records.
• Support operational projects, process‑enhancement initiatives, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
• Assist in monitoring operational controls and ensuring efficient service delivery.

Required profile

• Higher Secondary Education or equivalent qualification.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in Banking Operations or Transaction Processing.
• Strong understanding of banking operations, controls, and compliance requirements.
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving and organizational abilities.
• High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
• Effective communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
