Procurement Assistant / Purchasing Coordinator

About the role

We are looking for a detail‑oriented and proactive Procurement Assistant to support the daily operations of our purchasing and supply‑chain department. You will help maintain efficient procurement workflows, manage purchase orders and ensure timely acquisition of materials, goods and services across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Process purchase requisitions, verify against operational budgets and issue formal Purchase Orders.
• Track delivery timelines, audit supplier invoices and perform 3‑way matching (order, receipt, invoice).
• Liaise with vendors to resolve order discrepancies, delays or damaged shipments.
• Conduct initial price comparisons and support preliminary supplier negotiations.
• Maintain accurate inventory data, assist with periodic stock audits and reconcile physical receipts with invoices.
• Ensure all procurement files comply with company policy and audit standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, Procurement, Finance or a related field.
• Practical understanding of the complete purchase‑to‑pay (P2P) cycle.
• Hands‑on experience with ERP or procurement systems such as SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, Odoo or Zoho Inventory.
• Proven ability to communicate effectively with suppliers and manage vendor contact databases.
• Strong numerical accuracy and high attention to detail.
