Procurement Coordinator

About the role

The Procurement Coordinator will manage material procurement, supplier registration, and logistics for lighting and solar projects across the UAE. This role works closely with finance, sales, and project teams to ensure timely delivery and compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Register and record all purchase orders and contracts in the Renewal Management software.
• Handle supplier registration, payment terms, and negotiate pricing and discounts.
• Create material part number codes and manage procurement according to LPO/contract schedules.
• Plan and coordinate shipments, track material inflow, and arrange deliveries per Incoterms.
• Maintain databases of freight forwarders and stock records, and support site visits and energy audits.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Electronics, Electrical or related).
• Minimum 3 years of experience in the lighting industry, with knowledge of solar products.
• Strong understanding of procurement processes, vendor management, and supply chain coordination.
• Ability to compare quotations, negotiate pricing, and finalize purchase orders.

• Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• MS Projects or Primavera.
• Dialux, AGI32, EVO, AutoCAD.
• ERP and procurement software, inventory management tools.
