Procurement Engineer - Offshore Oil & Gas

About the role

An experienced Procurement Engineer is sought to support offshore and subsea operations, with a strong background in EPC projects and technical procurement within the Offshore Oil & Gas industry. The position is based in Abu Dhabi, UAE, on a 6-month renewable contract, joining immediately.

Key responsibilities

• Define technical specifications and scopes of work for procurement activities.
• Prepare technical tender documents and evaluate supplier submissions.
• Conduct techno-commercial bid evaluations and vendor assessments.
• Coordinate with Engineering, Projects, QA/QC and HSE teams.
• Support vendor qualification and technical clarification processes.
• Ensure procurement deliverables meet project specifications, contractual requirements and schedules.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, preferably Mechanical or Marine.
• Approximately 5-8 years of relevant experience in technical procurement or EPC project engineering support.
• Mandatory experience in Offshore Oil & Gas projects.
• Proven expertise in technical bid evaluation, vendor qualification and engineering coordination.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
