About the role
We are looking for a Procurement Engineer to lead the procurement and supply‑chain activities for our projects and plants in Sharjah. The role supports Veolia’s mission to deliver sustainable water, energy and waste solutions across the region.
Key responsibilities
- Execute the procurement and supply‑chain strategy in line with project/plant O&M contract requirements.
- Manage sub‑contracts and supervise suppliers to ensure performance and compliance.
- Lead the project/plant procurement team, including procurement officers and expeditors.
- Contribute to bid preparation by developing competitive proposals.
- Identify and implement improvements to overall procurement processes.
- Handle purchasing requirements, maintain supplier relations and ensure proper execution of orders.
Required profile
- Proven experience in procurement engineering or supply‑chain management within project or plant environments.
- Ability to coordinate with Plant, Projects, Proposals, Engineering and Contracts Management teams.
- Strong analytical and organizational skills to meet procurement KPIs.
