Procurement Executive (6‑Month Contract)

About the role
The Procurement Executive will support the Events & Exhibitions department by managing purchase processes, supplier relations, and inventory control for a six‑month contract.
Key responsibilities
- Coordinate procurement queries, documentation, registers and filing systems.
- Prepare purchase plans for equipment, services and supplies, and manage inventories.
- Review, compare, analyze and approve products and services across events.
- Negotiate payment terms, optimize costs and manage supplier accreditation.
- Maintain daily records, barcode assets, and conduct annual stock takes.
- Submit vendor invoices for timely payment and resolve order discrepancies.
Required profile
- Bachelor's or Associate degree in Business, Finance, Management or related field.
- 2+ years experience as a procurement officer or similar role.
- Strong communication, negotiation and analytical skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to work longer hours on computer.
Required skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Experience with purchasing software.
