Procurement Intern

About the role

Raytheon Emirates is looking for a motivated Procurement Intern to join its Supply Chain team in Abu Dhabi. The internship provides hands‑on experience in procurement, sourcing, supplier management and related supply‑chain activities.

Key responsibilities

• Support procurement activities such as reviewing requirements, preparing RFQs/tenders and coordinating with internal stakeholders and suppliers.
• Conduct market research, source suppliers, obtain and evaluate quotations, and assist in cost‑effective purchasing decisions.
• Assist with supplier evaluation, performance monitoring, negotiations and compliance with quality and procurement requirements.
• Track purchase orders, deliveries and deadlines while maintaining accurate reports and records.
• Ensure compliance with Raytheon procurement policies, FAR regulations and import/export requirements.

Required profile

• Currently enrolled in an undergraduate degree in Business, Supply Chain or a related field with a minimum GPA of 3.0/4.0 (or 4.0/5.0).
• Official university letter must be submitted with the CV.
• Strong collaboration, communication and organizational skills.
• Proficient in Arabic and English, both written and spoken.

• Basic understanding of procurement, sourcing, tendering/RFQ processes and supply‑chain management.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks, work independently and adapt to changing priorities.
• Analytical and negotiation skills with attention to cost, quality and delivery.
• Capability to prepare reports, evaluate supplier proposals and maintain procurement records.
