Procurement Lead

About the role

The Procurement Lead reports to the Regional Procurement Manager and is responsible for delivering strategic procurement support across business functions. You will manage the full procure-to-pay cycle, drive supplier relationships and ensure compliance with procurement policies in a fast‑paced environment.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure timely supply of goods, services and materials to support operations.
• Manage the procure‑to‑pay process, including requisitions, purchase orders and spot purchases.
• Lead tendering processes (RFP/RFQ) for projects, equipment and services, focusing on health, safety and environmental standards.
• Develop and maintain a procurement plan aligned with business objectives.
• Build and maintain strategic relationships with key suppliers, overseeing qualification, performance monitoring and dispute resolution.
• Lead multi‑disciplinary contract negotiations, identify cost‑saving opportunities and coordinate with Legal for contract approvals.
• Monitor and report procurement KPIs such as savings, OTIF and P2P cycle time.
• Collaborate with Finance on payment terms and drive total cost of ownership initiatives.

Required profile

• Undergraduate degree in Engineering, Supply Chain or Business; Master’s degree is a plus.
• Minimum 10 years of procurement experience, including 2‑3 years in a management role or 4+ years as a senior supply‑chain specialist.
• Oil & Gas industry experience is required.
• Proven ownership of the end‑to‑end P2P cycle and experience with RFQ/RFP processes.
• Strong negotiation, project management and stakeholder communication skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency with ERP systems (SAP, Navision preferred).
• Advanced data analysis capabilities.
• Solid understanding of legal aspects related to procurement.
