Procurement Manager – Construction Projects

About the role

Al Sahraa Group is seeking an experienced Procurement Manager to lead sourcing activities for large‑scale building and infrastructure projects in the UAE. You will be responsible for developing procurement strategies that align with project schedules, budgets, and technical specifications.

Key responsibilities

• Design project‑specific procurement plans, material take‑offs and sourcing timelines.
• Identify, pre‑qualify and manage suppliers, manufacturers and subcontractors.
• Prepare and issue RFQs, RFPs and tenders for materials, equipment and subcontract packages.
• Lead technical and commercial bid evaluations and negotiate contracts, pricing and delivery terms.
• Monitor procurement budgets, report cost variances and achieve savings through strategic sourcing and bulk purchasing.
• Ensure compliance with contractual terms, company policies and local/international procurement regulations.
• Maintain accurate procurement records, contracts and correspondence; prepare status reports and supplier performance reviews.

Required profile

• Minimum 12 years of UAE construction experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• Proven track record in building/infrastructure projects.
• Strong negotiation, contract management and supplier relationship skills.
