Procurement Manager (Direct Procurement)

About the role

The Procurement Manager – Direct Procurement will lead sourcing for food, beverage and packaging categories, ensuring cost‑effective, high‑quality supply for menu innovation and operational excellence. Reporting to senior leadership, you will shape strategy, negotiate contracts and manage supplier performance to support the business’s growth.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute sourcing strategies for direct categories aligned with cost targets and business objectives.
• Manage supplier relationships to guarantee quality, reliability and regulatory compliance.
• Negotiate contracts and pricing agreements to achieve optimal cost savings.
• Monitor market trends and commodity pricing to anticipate risks and opportunities.
• Oversee purchase orders, lead times and supplier performance metrics to ensure timely availability.
• Collaborate with culinary and operations teams on menu innovation and new product launches.
• Drive cost‑optimization initiatives while maintaining service standards.
• Maintain accurate procurement data for spend analysis, forecasting and compliance audits.
• Implement risk‑management strategies to mitigate supply‑chain disruptions.
• Lead continuous‑improvement projects to enhance procurement processes.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business (Engineering preferred) and International Trade certification.
• 8‑10 years of procurement experience in the Food & Beverage sector, with direct procurement focus.
• Proven track record in category management, strategic sourcing and contract negotiation.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to work cross‑functionally with culinary and operations teams.
