Procurement Manager – Emirati Talent (Full‑time)

About the role

Edge’s LAHAB division, the UAE’s sole military‑grade munitions manufacturer, is seeking a Procurement Manager to lead sourcing, contract negotiations and supplier performance. The role is focused on delivering cost‑effective, compliant acquisition of goods and services that support sovereign defence capabilities.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with business objectives.
• Manage end‑to‑end procurement processes, from supplier sourcing to contract award.
• Identify, evaluate and onboard qualified suppliers and contractors.
• Lead contract negotiations to optimise cost, quality, delivery and risk.
• Monitor market trends, pricing and supply risks to inform decisions.
• Control procurement budgets and drive cost‑saving initiatives.
• Oversee supplier performance through KPIs, audits and continuous improvement.
• Prepare procurement reports, forecasts and management dashboards.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering or related field; Master’s degree or professional certifications (CIPS, CPSM, PMP) are a plus.
• 5–10 years of progressive procurement or supply‑chain experience in manufacturing, construction, oil & gas, EPC or regulated industries.
• Experience with international sourcing, trade regulations and handling controlled/DG materials.
• Proven leadership, communication and stakeholder‑management abilities.
