Procurement Manager – Emirati Talent

About the role

EDGE’s LAHAB division, the UAE’s sole military‑grade munitions manufacturer, is seeking a Procurement Manager to lead sourcing, contract negotiations and supplier performance. The role is focused on delivering cost‑effective, compliant acquisition of goods and services that support sovereign defence capabilities.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with business objectives and budgets.
• Manage the end‑to‑end procurement cycle, from supplier sourcing to contract award and performance monitoring.
• Identify, evaluate and onboard qualified suppliers and contractors, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulations.
• Lead contract negotiations to optimise cost, quality, delivery and risk.
• Monitor market trends, pricing and supply‑chain risks to inform decision‑making.
• Control procurement budgets, drive cost‑saving initiatives and prepare reports, forecasts and dashboards.
• Mentor and develop procurement team members, fostering continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Finance, Engineering or related field.
• Master’s degree (MBA or equivalent) and professional certifications such as CIPS, CPSM or PMP.
• 5–10 years of progressive procurement or supply‑chain experience in manufacturing, construction, oil & gas, EPC or regulated industries.
• Proven track record in supplier sourcing, contract negotiation and vendor management.
• Experience with ERP systems (preferably SAP) and advanced Excel skills.
