Procurement Manager – Fit‑out Specialist

About the role

Royal Joinery is seeking a strategic Procurement Manager to lead the procurement function for its fit‑out, joinery and construction projects. The role is based in Abu Dhabi and focuses on delivering cost‑effective, high‑quality sourcing solutions while supporting the company’s ambitious growth plans.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with project and business objectives.
• Lead the sourcing, evaluation and selection of suppliers and subcontractors.
• Negotiate contracts, pricing and commercial terms to secure best value.
• Manage supplier relationships and monitor performance for quality, reliability and timely delivery.
• Oversee the full procurement lifecycle from material planning to payment coordination.
• Collaborate with project, engineering, production and finance teams to meet schedule requirements.
• Monitor market trends, material availability and pricing to identify cost‑saving opportunities.
• Maintain optimal inventory levels and prevent shortages or excess stock.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, contractual obligations and procurement regulations.
• Prepare reports, analyse spending trends and recommend improvements.
• Lead, mentor and develop the procurement team.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Supply Chain Management or a related field.
• Minimum 8 years of procurement experience, including at least 3 years in a managerial role within the UAE fit‑out, joinery or construction sector.
• Strong knowledge of interior fit‑out, joinery, MEP and finishing materials.
