Procurement Officer – Automotive Industry (Dubai)

About the role

We are seeking a Procurement Officer with a strong automotive background to oversee the sourcing and purchasing of materials essential for our operations. The role focuses on ensuring timely availability of parts while controlling costs and maintaining high supplier standards.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with business needs.
• Identify, qualify, and negotiate with suppliers on price, terms, and delivery schedules.
• Manage purchase orders and monitor their timely execution.
• Evaluate supplier performance and maintain accurate supplier records.
• Coordinate procurement requirements with Operations, Warehouse, and Finance teams.
• Monitor material availability to prevent operational delays.
• Ensure compliance with internal procurement procedures.
• Maintain detailed procurement reports and records.
• Identify cost‑saving opportunities and improve purchasing efficiency.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Procurement, Business Administration or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of proven procurement and supplier‑management experience in the automotive or technical sector.
• Strong negotiation and communication abilities.
• Good knowledge of purchasing processes and documentation.
• Ability to handle multiple priorities and work under tight deadlines.
• Currently residing in Dubai/UAE and available to join immediately.
