Procurement Officer

About the role

Procurement Officer will be responsible for managing the end‑to‑end procurement process for marble, natural stone, construction materials, finishing materials, tools, equipment, and general project requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the full procurement cycle from requisition to purchase order and delivery.
• Source and procure marble, granite, natural stone, porcelain, tiles, adhesives, chemicals and related materials.
• Identify and evaluate local and international suppliers based on price, quality, availability, lead time and reliability.
• Negotiate prices, payment terms, delivery schedules, warranties and other commercial conditions.
• Issue purchase orders in line with approved procedures and authority limits.
• Maintain a strong supplier network for various stone products and ensure material availability aligns with project schedules.
• Coordinate delivery logistics with suppliers, warehouses and project sites to avoid shortages or delays.
• Monitor supplier performance, maintain updated supplier database and drive cost‑saving initiatives.

Required profile

• 5–8 years of procurement experience, preferably in marble, natural stone, construction or fit‑out companies.
• Demonstrated experience dealing with local and international suppliers in the UAE/GCC region.
• Familiarity with construction BOQs, project‑based purchasing and material specifications.
• UAE driving licence holder.
• Ability to work closely with design, technical and project teams to ensure material compliance.

Required skills

• Proficiency with ERP systems, specifically Odoo.
• Strong knowledge of procurement processes and supplier management.
