Procurement Officer

About the role

Rosenbauer Group, a global system provider for emergency services with over 160 years of history, is hiring a Procurement Officer. The role manages day-to-day procurement so that materials are always available to support production and operations.

Key responsibilities

• Manage daily procurement activities and keep material supply uninterrupted for production and operations.
• Create and process purchase orders, coordinate with suppliers and monitor delivery schedules proactively.
• Maintain accurate procurement records, verify supplier invoices and update ERP master data, including inventory and material planning parameters.
• Work closely with Sales, Operations, Production, Warehouse and Logistics teams to ensure timely supply chain execution.
• Negotiate with local and international suppliers to improve cost, quality and delivery performance.
• Monitor stock levels and support inventory optimization initiatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management or a related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in procurement, purchasing or supply chain operations, preferably in manufacturing, industrial or engineering sectors.
• Strong negotiation, vendor management and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, multicultural environment.
• Good analytical skills and strong English; Arabic is an advantage.
• Familiarity with GCC/UAE procurement practices and international sourcing is preferred.

Required skills

• Strong experience with ERP systems; Zoho knowledge is highly preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and procurement reporting.
