Procurement Officer – Mechanical (EPC Projects)

About the role

The company is seeking an experienced Procurement Officer to lead mechanical, MEP and industrial equipment sourcing for EPC projects in Dubai. The role involves both domestic and international procurement, ensuring timely delivery and compliance with project specifications.

Key responsibilities

• Manage end‑to‑end procurement of mechanical, MEP and industrial equipment for EPC projects.
• Handle domestic and international sourcing, including import and export logistics.
• Identify suppliers, negotiate prices and secure cost‑effective contracts.
• Oversee purchase orders, quotations, delivery schedules and vendor relationships.
• Coordinate with engineering, project and logistics teams to guarantee timely material delivery.
• Ensure compliance with technical specifications, quality standards and project requirements.

Required profile

• B.E/B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering.
• Extensive experience in mechanical procurement and MEP procurement for EPC projects.
• Hands‑on experience with import and export operations.
• Background in industrial, factory installation, construction and infrastructure projects.
• Knowledge of procuring chillers, pumps, fire‑fighting systems, steel structures, valves, cranes and process equipment.
• Combined civil and mechanical procurement experience is preferred.
