Procurement Specialist – Aviation

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Procurement Specialist with an aviation background to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong procurement and supplier management experience, preferably within the aviation or aircraft maintenance industry.

Key responsibilities

• Manage procurement of aircraft parts, materials, tools, equipment and general company requirements.
• Source and evaluate suppliers, negotiate prices and maintain good supplier relationships.
• Request and compare quotations to ensure competitive pricing and suitable delivery timelines.
• Prepare and process purchase orders and follow up on deliveries.
• Coordinate with Engineering, Maintenance, Stores, Finance and other departments regarding procurement requirements.
• Ensure purchased items meet required specifications, quality standards and applicable aviation requirements.
• Maintain accurate procurement records, supplier information and documentation.
• Monitor orders and ensure timely delivery of urgent aircraft parts and materials.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Procurement, Supply Chain, Business Administration or a related field.
• Aviation experience is highly preferred, particularly in aircraft maintenance, MRO, airline or aviation support environments.
• Minimum 2–3 years of relevant procurement experience.
• Knowledge of aviation parts, materials, tools and aircraft maintenance requirements is an advantage.
• Strong negotiation, communication and supplier management skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage urgent procurement requirements.
