Procurement Specialist – Emiratization

About the role

The Procurement Specialist will join TRENDS Group’s Abu Dhabi office to manage end‑to‑end procurement activities that support the organisation’s research and operational needs. This full‑time, on‑site position focuses on sourcing, purchasing, and vendor management while ensuring compliance with internal policies and budget constraints.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare, process and track purchase orders across multiple categories and projects.
• Source goods and services, evaluate suppliers, and negotiate contracts, pricing, and service levels.
• Maintain accurate procurement records, documentation, and reporting.
• Monitor market trends and analyse cost data to optimise spend.
• Collaborate with internal departments to understand requirements and improve procurement processes.
• Ensure compliance with organisational, regulatory and best‑practice procurement standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Procurement or a related field.
• Professional certifications such as CIPS or CPSM are an advantage.
• Experience working in the UAE or similar regulatory environments.
• Strong analytical, organisational and communication skills.
• Proven ability to evaluate supplier performance, quality, reliability and risk.
