Procurement Specialist – UAEN

About the role

The Procurement Specialist is responsible for managing the full procurement lifecycle, from planning and requirements gathering through sourcing, supplier evaluation, negotiation, contract award, and supplier performance management.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with business stakeholders to identify procurement requirements, develop plans and lead end‑to‑end sourcing activities for assigned categories.
• Conduct market research, supplier analysis, benchmarking and identify opportunities to consolidate spend and improve commercial outcomes.
• Support stakeholders throughout contract negotiations, manage contract renewals, amendments and ensure compliance with legal and finance reviews.
• Evaluate, select and onboard suppliers, manage performance reviews, resolve issues and drive supplier rationalisation.
• Identify cost‑saving opportunities, produce procurement reports, monitor KPIs and analyse data for process improvements.
• Collaborate across functions, maintain clear communication with stakeholders and ensure timely completion of procurement actions.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Business Administration or related field; professional certification (CIPS, CPSM) desirable.
• Minimum 8 years of procurement experience managing end‑to‑end sourcing and contracting activities.
• Proven experience in supplier negotiations, contract lifecycle management and using ERP/e‑procurement systems.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency with ERP and e‑procurement platforms, preferably Oracle Fusion.
• Strong analytical and reporting skills, including use of procurement dashboards and data analysis tools.
• Experience leveraging AI, automation and digital tools to improve procurement efficiency.
