Product Assurance Manager

About the role

The Product Assurance Manager will safeguard the integrity, reliability and regulatory compliance of FADA’s space systems from concept through launch and operations. You will lead the implementation of assurance frameworks aligned with ECSS, NASA and AS9100 standards, embedding mission‑assurance principles across satellite platforms, payloads and ground infrastructure.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain mission‑specific Product Assurance Plans that meet ECSS, NASA and AS9100 requirements.
• Lead PA reviews (MRR, TRR, QR, FAR) and ensure readiness at each project milestone.
• Oversee materials, process and parts control, guaranteeing traceability and space‑grade compliance.
• Manage non‑conformance, root‑cause analysis and corrective/preventive actions for flight‑critical issues.
• Apply RAMS methodologies, conduct FMEA/FMECA, fault‑tree and hazard assessments, and maintain risk registers.
• Perform supplier PA audits, qualification reviews and incoming inspection, ensuring subcontractor compliance.
• Control configuration, documentation traceability and change management throughout the product lifecycle.
• Support cleanliness, contamination control and ESD protocols during AIT activities.
• Ensure alignment with UAE space regulatory frameworks, export control, ITAR/EAR and prepare documentation for audits and mission assurance boards.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace, Systems Engineering or a related discipline.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in Product Assurance, Mission Assurance or Reliability Engineering within the space sector.
• Deep knowledge of ECSS‑Q‑ST, NASA‑STD‑8739, AS9100 and ISO 9001 standards.
• Proven track record in PA planning, risk management and supplier assurance.
