Product Manager – Energy

About the role

We are seeking an experienced and commercially driven Procurement & Sourcing Manager to build and manage our energy product portfolio, covering UPS, Inverters, BESS, Batteries, Solar, and EV Chargers. The ideal candidate will identify the right products, brands, and suppliers, negotiate competitive commercial terms, and create a profitable portfolio for the UAE/GCC market.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and develop reliable manufacturers, suppliers, and established brands, sourcing both international brands and competitive OEMs.
• Evaluate products on quality, price, certifications, warranty, reliability, availability, and after‑sales support.
• Negotiate pricing, payment terms, MOQ, warranty, and delivery conditions while making sound purchasing decisions based on market demand.
• Collaborate with the Sales team to set competitive pricing and maintain healthy margins.
• Build and maintain strong supplier relationships and develop a balanced product portfolio across market segments.
• Explore exclusive distribution, strategic partnerships, OEM/ODM, and private‑label opportunities.
• Support purchasing and inventory planning, attend international exhibitions, and visit manufacturers when required.

Required profile

• 3–5+ years of experience in energy products, electrical equipment, solar, UPS, batteries, inverters, BESS, or EV charging.
• Strong background in procurement, sourcing, trading, or distribution with good knowledge of the UAE/GCC market.
• Proven negotiation and commercial skills, with existing relationships with manufacturers and distributors considered a strong advantage.
• Experience in importing and distributing products is preferred.
• Strong commercial judgment, market awareness, and analytical abilities.
• Willingness to travel for supplier meetings, factory visits, and international exhibitions.
