Product Manager – GEM & Levant (Pharma)

About the role

Abbott is seeking a Product Manager for its GEM & Levant portfolio within the Established Pharmaceuticals division in Dubai. The role focuses on strategic planning, portfolio management, and market development of branded generic medicines across multiple therapeutic areas.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute annual marketing plans to grow sales, profit and market share for the GEM & Levant portfolio.
• Manage product portfolio, assess competitive standing, launch new products, and discontinue non‑strategic items.
• Lead cross‑functional project teams, translate strategy into milestones, and ensure timely execution of marketing initiatives.
• Conduct market analysis, forecast sales and investments, and adjust tactics based on performance data.
• Engage with customers and key opinion leaders, conduct joint field calls, and build relationships to drive brand growth.

Required profile

• Degree in pharmacy, veterinary or medical sciences; MBA in marketing is a plus.
• Minimum 5 years of sales/marketing experience in the pharma industry, with at least 2 years managing Gulf and emerging markets.
• Proven track record in consumer healthcare marketing, including DTC and ATL campaigns.
• Fluent in English; Arabic is a plus.
