Product Manager – Middle East

About the role

The Product Manager drives sales of assigned products through a clear strategy and builds partnerships with existing and potential vendors. The role optimizes sales volumes, maintains vendor relations, acquires new partnerships and coordinates marketing programs in line with the Solution Teams. It covers Oman, Bahrain and Kuwait, excluding the UAE.

Key responsibilities

• Define the product strategy and roadmap for the assigned product line and manage the full product life cycle
• Work with Sales Managers across territories to define the right channels for each product
• Research the market and specify requirements for current and future products, supported by visits to potential and existing customers
• Lead vendor relations, identify potential partners and provide and manage complex quotations
• Ensure proper storage, tracking and control of inventory through an accurate stock management system
• Oversee targeted marketing programs and deliver accurate sales forecasts and market development reports
• Build a customer database, increase the customer base and maintain and grow sales for the product line
• Promote the products and the company within the region and respond promptly to partner and customer needs

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Sales & Marketing, Engineering or another related field
• 5-7 years of relevant experience in the IT/software industry
• Hands-on experience with the IBM software portfolio, preferably in Data, AI or Automation
• Proven experience working with Middle East markets
