Product Owner – Aviation Data

About the role

The Product Owner for Aviation Data will act as the customer proxy, collaborating closely with the Senior Product Manager to shape product vision and roadmap. Working within an agile Scrum environment, the role ensures that user stories are well‑defined, prioritized, and meet acceptance criteria before delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with the Senior Product Manager to define product strategy, vision, and roadmap.
• Review, prioritize, and refine the team backlog during iteration planning, coordinating dependencies across multiple Scrum teams.
• Accept the final iteration plan and ensure all backlog items are clearly described, estimated, and prioritized.
• Detail features and user stories with explicit acceptance criteria and acceptance tests.
• Validate that delivered stories meet the acceptance criteria, pass acceptance tests, and comply with the Definition of Done.
• Facilitate regular demos to showcase critical aspects of the product to stakeholders.

Required profile

• Proven experience working as a Product Owner or in a similar role within agile Scrum teams.
• Ability to collaborate with multiple Scrum teams and coordinate cross‑team dependencies.
• Strong analytical mindset to translate business needs into clear user stories.
• Excellent communication skills to act as the customer proxy and present demos to stakeholders.
