Product Owner - Business Excellence & Transformation

About the role

Wasl, a leading real estate management company in Dubai, is hiring a Product Owner in its Business Excellence & Transformation department, reporting to the Tribe Lead. The Product Owner acts as the transformation partner for assigned business areas such as Leasing, Freehold Sales, Asset Management Services and Solutions, Land, Hospitality and other Group functions. The role has no direct reports and works in a matrix environment, influencing cross-functional teams and stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the primary transformation and product partner for assigned portfolios, understanding their objectives, processes, customer journeys and future needs.
• Lead requirements workshops, stakeholder interviews, process reviews and customer journey mapping, and analyse As-Is processes to design improved To-Be processes.
• Gather, document, validate and prioritize requirements, then turn them into functional specifications, user stories, acceptance criteria, wireframes and technical requirements.
• Own the product backlog, roadmap, enhancement pipeline and release priorities, and act as the main liaison between business stakeholders, IT, implementation partners and vendors.
• Review solutions, workflows and integrations, support delivery teams, and take part in Agile ceremonies, backlog refinement, sprint planning and governance reviews.
• Co-lead User Acceptance Testing, coordinate business readiness, process documentation, training and cutover, and work with Change Management teams.
• Define and monitor KPIs, adoption and benefits realization, prepare business cases and reports for leadership, and ensure compliance with cybersecurity, data privacy and regulatory requirements.

Required profile

• Advanced proficiency in product ownership, business analysis, requirements management, digital transformation, Agile and hybrid delivery, and stakeholder management.
• Ability to work in a matrix environment across multiple business portfolios and systems.
