Product Owner – Trading Platforms (Mobile & Web)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Product Owner – Trading Platforms (Mobile App & Web Platform) to own and drive the development, enhancement, and continuous improvement of IC Markets' trader‑facing mobile and web platforms. The role focuses on delivering a superior trading experience and requires solid background in Forex, CFDs and online trading platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Own and manage the product roadmap and backlog for the mobile and web trading platforms.
• Translate product strategy and client needs into clear epics, user stories, acceptance criteria and functional requirements.
• Drive development and continuous improvement of core trading capabilities such as market watch, charts, order placement, execution, stop‑loss/take‑profit, trading history and account information.
• Collaborate with engineering, QA, UX/UI, compliance and other product teams throughout the full product lifecycle.
• Analyse platform usage, trader behaviour and market trends to prioritise features and define product KPIs.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Computer Science or related field.
• 3+ years experience as a Product Owner or Product Manager in Forex, CFD or fintech trading platforms.
• Strong practical understanding of Forex and CFD trading, market instruments and the end‑to‑end trading lifecycle.
• Experience working with mobile and web trading platforms and integrating with brokerage ecosystems (CRM, KYC, payments, back‑office).
• Proven ability to define product requirements, manage complex backlogs and work in Agile environments.
