Product Security Engineer (Remote)

About the role

We are seeking a Product Security Engineer to join a global leader in software development and IT consulting. The role is fully remote and focuses on embedding security into a cloud‑native platform, from design through delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Define and maintain security requirements for product features and underlying infrastructure.
• Perform threat modeling and risk assessments for new and existing functionalities.
• Integrate secure coding practices and security testing (SAST, DAST, penetration testing) into the development lifecycle.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to design and deploy secure cloud architectures on AWS, Azure or GCP.
• Monitor vulnerabilities, coordinate remediation, and ensure timely response.
• Produce clear security documentation and guidelines for cross‑functional teams.

Required profile

• Proven experience with secure software development lifecycle (SDLC) practices.
• Strong background in threat modeling and risk assessment.
• Hands‑on knowledge of cloud security principles for major providers (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Familiarity with container security, especially Docker and Kubernetes.
• Understanding of identity and access management (IAM) and zero‑trust architectures.
