Production Assembler – Advanced Turbine & Propulsion Systems

About the role

The Production Assembler joins EDGE Group’s aerospace manufacturing hub to assemble advanced turbine and propulsion system components, including micro‑jet and turbofan engine parts. Working from detailed engineering drawings and work instructions, the assembler ensures every product meets strict safety, reliability and performance standards.

Key responsibilities

• Execute assembly operations according to the production schedule and daily targets.
• Perform precise mechanical and electronic assembly, including torque‑controlled fastening, fine alignment, and calibration.
• Handle delicate parts with care, preventing damage during handling and movement.
• Conduct visual and dimensional inspections throughout the process to verify compliance with specifications.
• Apply AS9100, ISO and IPC‑A‑610 standards to maximise yield and minimise rework.
• Record assembly data, inspection results and non‑conformances in the production system.
• Collaborate with production, quality, engineering and maintenance teams to resolve technical issues.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organised work area following lean manufacturing principles.

Required profile

• Diploma, technical certification or equivalent hands‑on experience in mechanical, electrical or electronic assembly.
• Proven experience in aerospace, industrial or precision‑assembly environments.
• Familiarity with AS9100, ISO quality standards and controlled manufacturing settings.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, assembly instructions and engineering documentation.
