Production Engineer - Structural Fabrication

About the role

Q Steel is looking for a Production Engineer to join its team at Hamriyah Free Zone, Sharjah. The role suits mechanical engineering professionals with experience in production planning, manpower management and structural fabrication, supporting production activities, coordinating fabrication processes and ensuring efficient workflow in the manufacturing environment.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate daily production activities to keep manufacturing running smoothly.
• Manage manpower allocation and monitor workforce productivity.
• Support heavy and light structural fabrication processes.
• Review and interpret fabrication drawings so production runs accurately.
• Coordinate with production teams to meet project timelines and quality standards.
• Assist with basic estimation and production documentation.
• Help improve production processes and workflow efficiency.

Required profile

• Degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
• 3-4 years of experience in production planning, manpower management and structural fabrication.
• Knowledge of heavy and light structural fabrication and ability to read fabrication drawings.
• Good communication, coordination and problem-solving skills.
