Production Manager – Shipyard Operations

About the role

Arabian Marine Company is seeking an experienced Production Manager to lead all shipyard production activities at its Ras Al Khaimah facility. The role involves coordinating teams, managing resources, and ensuring that vessel construction and repair projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate and control all production activities across the shipyard.
• Lead production teams including supervisors, tradesmen and labourers.
• Develop production schedules and monitor progress against milestones.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental and HSSE regulations.
• Liaise with project managers, engineers and clients on production matters.
• Manage material procurement and resource allocation.
• Monitor quality control throughout the production process.
• Drive continuous‑improvement initiatives to boost productivity and efficiency.
• Prepare production reports for senior management.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Shipbuilding or a related field.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in shipyard or marine production management.
• Strong knowledge of shipbuilding processes, methods and materials.
• Proven leadership and team‑management abilities.
• Experience with production planning tools and ERP systems.
• Excellent problem‑solving and decision‑making skills.
• Knowledge of HSSE regulations in a marine/shipyard environment; UAE experience preferred.
