Production Planning Engineer - PPC

About the role

Emirates Engineering is seeking a Production Planning Engineer (PPC) to lead the planning process for aircraft maintenance in an assigned hangar/area. You will be responsible for pre‑planning, cost control, and developing detailed workflow plans that minimise ground time and optimise manpower.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct detailed work‑package reviews to identify the critical path and technical requirements.
• Develop workflow charts, daily task breakdowns, and resource plans to achieve minimum ground time.
• Lead initial and final review meetings, securing stakeholder agreement on the workflow plan.
• Drive cost‑saving measures and continuously review upcoming checks to reduce downtime.
• Ensure issues identified in reviews are closed before execution and embed lessons learned into future checks.
• Participate in continuous‑improvement projects and change programmes within the Production Planning Department.

Required profile

• Proven ability to lead and guide a production planning team.
• Experience in coordinating with production, maintenance planning, and engineering stakeholders.
• Strong analytical mindset for critical‑path and cost‑control analysis.
