Professional Architect

About the role

SOM in Dubai is seeking an innovative and independent architect to join its collaborative design practice. The role offers the chance to work on high‑impact, sustainable projects within a global interdisciplinary team.

Key responsibilities

• Lead distinct portions of projects, delivering precise 3D models, drawings, renderings and physical models.
• Communicate design concepts internally and with clients, consultants, and stakeholders through clear written, oral, and visual presentations.
• Integrate interdisciplinary criteria and technical strategies to advance design development.
• Mentor junior staff, manage workload and deadlines, and contribute to studio activities.

Required profile

• Professional degree in Architecture or related field.
• Minimum 4 years of professional experience.
• Professional licensure process near completion; LEED accreditation preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Required skills

• High proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, Rhino, and parametric/rendering software.
• Advanced use of Adobe Suite.
• Proficiency with Google Workspace.
