Program Director – Aviation Mechanical & Electrical Infrastructure

About the role

TYLin is seeking an experienced Program Director to lead a multi‑billion‑dollar aviation terminal redevelopment program. The role focuses on delivering major mechanical, electrical and plant infrastructure initiatives, including decommissioning existing utilities and installing state‑of‑the‑art heating, refrigeration and mechanical plant systems.

Key responsibilities

• Provide executive leadership for planning, coordination and delivery of major MEP infrastructure projects supporting terminal redevelopment.
• Direct multidisciplinary engineering, design and construction teams throughout planning, design and execution phases.
• Lead program governance, risk management, scheduling, commercial oversight and quality management.
• Coordinate multiple consultants, contractors and specialty disciplines across a large, integrated program.
• Mentor and develop project leadership teams while championing safety, quality and innovation.

Required profile

• Extensive experience leading major airport infrastructure or terminal redevelopment programs.
• Proven track record delivering large‑scale Design‑Build, Progressive Design‑Build, P3 or similar alternative delivery projects.
• Strong leadership, communication and stakeholder management skills, with ability to work in highly regulated, operational airport environments.
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Architectural Engineering or related field; Professional Engineer (PE) licensure preferred.

Required skills

• Mechanical engineering expertise for heating, refrigeration and plant systems.
• Electrical engineering knowledge for central utility and building services.
• Design‑Build and progressive design‑build delivery methodologies.
• Experience with central utility plant design and integration.
