Project Coordinator - Interior Fit Out

About the role

Careers International is recruiting a Project Coordinator for an interior fit-out and contracting company based in Dubai. The coordinator plays a key part in making sure projects run smoothly from planning to completion, delivering them on time, within scope and within budget.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in developing project plans, timelines and schedules, and monitor progress against milestones
• Act as the main point of contact for clients, sharing updates, milestones and issues
• Coordinate with the resource allocation team so materials, equipment and manpower are available
• Help monitor project budgets and report variances with recommendations
• Implement quality control procedures and identify risks with mitigation strategies
• Maintain project documentation such as contracts, change orders and progress reports, and generate regular reports
• Work with architects, designers and subcontractors, and ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, interior design or a similar field
• At least 3 years of experience in project coordination within interior fit-out or contracting
• Knowledge of local building codes and regulations
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
• Must be able to speak, read and write Arabic
