Project Development Engineer - Security Systems

About the role

The Project Development Engineer – Security Systems reports to the Pre‑Sales Lead and works from the Dubai office. You will support the Aftermarket division of Building Technology and Solutions, focusing on security and ELV systems, and assist the sales team with application‑specific jobs and product information.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop security system solutions, including access control, CCTV and other ELV components.
• Conduct site surveys across the assigned territory, coordinating with subcontractors and vendors.
• Participate in sales presentations alongside sales engineers and gather end‑user specifications.
• Maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders, suppliers and vendors to ensure project scope, timeline and customer requirements are met.

Required profile

• Degree or diploma in Electrical/Electronics/Instrumentation or a related field.
• 4‑5 years of UAE experience in estimating security and ELV systems.
• Strong negotiation and vendor‑management skills, with a UAE driving licence.
• Professional verbal and written communication in English.

Required skills

• Design of Access Control and CCTV solutions.
• Experience with ELV (Extra‑Low Voltage) systems.
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite, Visio and AutoCAD.
• IT/Networking knowledge and security product certifications (e.g., JCI/Tyco).
