Project Director - Buildings

About the role

Our client, a leading real‑estate development firm in Abu Dhabi, is looking for an experienced Project Director to oversee a massive portfolio of building projects. You will be responsible for guiding projects from concept through completion while aligning with business objectives and regulatory requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end delivery of large‑scale real‑estate projects from concept through completion.
• Manage consultants, contractors and key stakeholders to ensure alignment with project objectives.
• Oversee budgets, schedules, risk registers and governance processes.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental, quality and local authority standards.
• Provide strategic reporting and updates to senior leadership.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Architecture or Construction Management.
• Minimum 12 years of experience delivering large‑scale real‑estate or construction projects.
• Proven track record of successful project delivery and strong commercial acumen.
• Leadership and stakeholder management capabilities.
• PMP, RICS or equivalent certification is a plus.
