Project Director – High‑Rise Residential

About the role

We are looking for an accomplished Project Director to lead flagship high‑rise residential and mixed‑use towers in Abu Dhabi for a premier Tier 1 General Contractor. The role carries full responsibility for delivering multi‑billion AED projects from concept to turnkey handover.

Key responsibilities

• Provide strategic direction and governance to the entire project team, aligning site practices with Tier 1 corporate standards.
• Act as the primary liaison with the client, PMCs, supervision consultants, and Abu Dhabi municipal authorities.
• Define macro‑level milestones covering deep basements, core walls, structural MEP integration, facades and premium interior fit‑outs.
• Direct advanced high‑rise construction methods such as self‑climbing formwork, heavy‑lifting tower cranes, high‑pressure concrete pumping and modular MEP strategies.
• Manage the project budget, P&L, cash‑flow forecasts and resource allocation while protecting contract margins.
• Oversee FIDIC‑based contract administration, claims, variation orders and extensions of time.
• Enforce zero‑harm QHSE culture, ensuring compliance with ADOSH, Tier 1 HSE standards, civil‑defence approvals and Estidama green‑building ratings.

Required profile

• Minimum 20 years of experience in civil construction, specifically leading fast‑track high‑rise residential towers.
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or Architecture.
• Proven track record of delivering multi‑billion AED projects on time and within budget.
