Project Engineer - Bridge Maintenance

About the role

We are looking for a Project Engineer to lead day‑to‑day bridge maintenance activities, ensuring that works are carried out safely, on schedule and within budget. The role involves close coordination with clients, consultants, subcontractors and internal teams to guarantee smooth project execution.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise daily bridge maintenance operations and monitor site progress against specifications, quality standards and approved procedures.
• Plan and allocate manpower, equipment and materials to achieve efficient project delivery.
• Ensure compliance with Health, Safety, Environment (HSE) and quality requirements.
• Review technical drawings, method statements and work schedules.
• Prepare daily, weekly and monthly progress reports and maintain comprehensive project documentation.
• Attend project meetings and resolve technical and site‑related issues.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
• 8–10 years of experience as a Project Engineer on bridge maintenance, rehabilitation or similar infrastructure projects in the UAE.
• Experience working on government or semi‑government infrastructure projects in the UAE (preferred).
• Strong knowledge of bridge maintenance practices, construction methods and project execution.
• Valid UAE driving licence (mandatory).

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Knowledge of Primavera P6 (advantage).
