Project Engineer – Buildings

About the role

Parsons is seeking an experienced Project Engineer (Buildings) to join its Project Management Construction team in Abu Dhabi. You will oversee daily site operations for building projects, ensuring timely, on‑budget delivery while meeting quality and safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee all construction activities, ensuring compliance with design specifications, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Coordinate with design and construction teams to ensure smooth execution and monitor progress, addressing delays or issues promptly.
• Conduct site inspections, maintain documentation, and manage site safety protocols.
• Liaise with contractors, suppliers, and stakeholders to secure timely delivery of materials and services.
• Assist with testing, commissioning, and handover of completed works.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field from an accredited university.
• Minimum 8 years of construction supervision experience, including at least 5 years in a site engineering role for building projects.
• Fluent in Arabic and English with strong communication skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency in MS Office.
• Experience with project management software such as Primavera and MS Project.
• Knowledge of AutoCAD and other engineering design tools.
