Project Engineer – Marine EPC Construction

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Project Engineer to support the planning, execution, and coordination of marine EPC construction projects. The role involves managing engineering, procurement, subcontractor coordination, and on‑site construction activities to deliver projects safely, on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate and oversee marine construction works such as piling, dredging, reclamation, quay walls, jetties, breakwaters and related infrastructure.
• Review and prepare technical submittals, shop drawings, method statements, material approvals and other engineering documentation.
• Collaborate with clients, consultants, subcontractors, suppliers and internal teams to ensure smooth project delivery.
• Monitor progress, identify risks and implement corrective actions to keep schedules on track.
• Support procurement by evaluating materials, equipment and subcontractor requirements.
• Ensure compliance with project specifications, contract terms, QA/QC procedures and HSE standards.
• Prepare progress reports, site records, technical correspondence and status updates.
• Assist with commercial and contractual matters, including variations, claims and documentation.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Marine Engineering or a related discipline.
• 8–12 years of experience in marine construction projects, preferably in the UAE/GCC.
• Proven experience delivering EPC projects involving piling, dredging, reclamation, quay walls, jetties and breakwaters.
• Strong knowledge of construction methodologies, engineering principles and project coordination.
• Familiarity with FIDIC contract conditions is preferred.
• Valid UAE driving licence.

• Experience with project management software.
