Project Engineer – Marine

About the role

The Company is seeking an experienced Project Engineer to lead the planning, execution, and coordination of marine EPC construction projects in Abu Dhabi. The role involves managing engineering, procurement, subcontractor coordination, and on‑site construction activities to deliver projects safely, on time, and within budget.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate and oversee marine construction works such as piling, dredging, reclamation, quay walls, jetties, and breakwaters.
• Prepare and review technical submittals, shop drawings, method statements, material approvals, and other engineering documentation.
• Collaborate with clients, consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure smooth project delivery.
• Monitor progress, identify risks, and implement corrective actions to maintain schedules.
• Support procurement by evaluating materials, equipment, and subcontractor requirements.
• Ensure compliance with project specifications, contract terms, QA/QC procedures, and HSE standards.
• Prepare progress reports, site records, technical correspondence, and status updates.
• Assist with commercial and contractual matters, including variations and claims.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Marine Engineering, or a related discipline.
• 8–12 years of experience in marine construction projects, preferably in the UAE/GCC.
• Proven track record delivering marine EPC projects involving piling, dredging, reclamation, quay walls, jetties, and breakwaters.
