Project Engineer – Security Solutions

About the role

The Project Engineer (Security Solutions) will lead the planning, coordination and delivery of technical security systems from design through commissioning. You will work closely with project teams, clients and suppliers to ensure installations meet functional, regulatory and safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and review design documentation for access control, CCTV, intruder detection, perimeter detection and integrated security solutions.
• Create and maintain project work packs, installation drawings, cable schedules, equipment lists and site test plans.
• Coordinate with project managers, site teams, subcontractors and suppliers to sequence activities and ensure timely delivery.
• Provide on‑site technical leadership, supervise installations, resolve queries and conduct quality inspections.
• Plan and execute system integration, configuration, functional testing and commissioning to achieve client acceptance.
• Prepare progress reports, test records, commissioning certificates, handover documentation and as‑built drawings.
• Support procurement by specifying equipment, evaluating proposals and assisting with vendor selection and factory acceptance testing.
• Contribute to commercial activities such as change control, variation assessments and defect resolution.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electronic/Electrical Engineering, Security Engineering, Systems Engineering or equivalent experience.
• 3–6 years of experience in design, installation and commissioning of physical security systems.
• Strong knowledge of electrical installation principles and low‑voltage power distribution.
• Familiarity with health & safety requirements for security system installations.
