Project Finance Controller

About the role

We are seeking a Project Finance Controller to join our airport logistics team in Dubai. You will be responsible for overseeing financial planning, reporting and cost control for our ACP/DB projects, ensuring alignment with business targets and regulatory requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain accurate forecasts of operating performance and monitor against fiscal year targets, analysing deviations and proposing mitigation measures.
• Oversee and consolidate periodic financial reporting for project results and cost‑center performance.
• Manage project accounting processes including billing, accruals and joint ventures, ensuring compliance with VAT and other regulations.
• Create and maintain project budgets from bid evaluation through execution, coordinating with project managers, engineers and procurement.
• Prepare cost and cash‑flow plans, activity‑based costing schedules and sales forecasts in line with accounting guidelines.
• Allocate and verify costs, monitor actual spend against progress and highlight budget constraints promptly.

Required profile

• Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in project finance, controlling or cost management within an electromechanical engineering and construction environment.
• Professional certifications such as CPA, CFA, CMA or QS are highly advantageous.
• Strong analytical ability to prepare accurate financial statements and reports for internal and external stakeholders.
