Project Logistics Manager

About the role

The Project Logistics Manager will lead end‑to‑end supply chain, marine transport and field logistics for ADNAD Offshore oil and gas projects, ensuring safe, compliant and cost‑effective movement of cargo, heavy lifts and personnel.

Key responsibilities

• Manage vessel dispatch, chartering and quay operations across major Abu Dhabi ports, coordinating load‑outs, heavy lifts and offshore off‑loading in line with marine engineering standards.
• Develop and execute logistics management plans, secure CICPA and ADNOC field permits, handle customs clearance, dangerous‑goods certification and oversee warehousing and inventory using SAP/Oracle.
• Act as the primary logistics liaison with ADNOC Offshore, contractors, port authorities and third‑party logistics providers, participating in schedule updates and marine installation meetings.
• Ensure zero‑harm operations by reviewing risk assessments, JSA, method statements and enforcing SOLAS, MARPOL and UAE maritime regulations.
• Control logistics budgets, track vessel charter rates, fuel consumption and freight costs, and produce KPI reports on vessel utilization and cargo turnaround.

Required profile

• Minimum 15 years logistics and supply‑chain experience in oil & gas, offshore EPC or marine construction, with at least 8 years in a managerial role.
• Prior direct experience with ADNOC Offshore projects, standards and clearance systems.
• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Engineering or related field; APICS/CIPS preferred.

Required skills

• Marine logistics – vessel chartering, barges, heavy‑lift coordination.
• ERP systems – SAP and Oracle.
• Project scheduling tools – Primavera and MS Project.
• Marine tracking tools and knowledge of SOLAS, MARPOL, IMDG regulations.
• Fluent written and spoken English.
