Project Manager – Abu Dhabi

About the role

The Project Manager will lead the delivery of assigned project scopes, sub‑packages or work‑fronts within Larsen & Toubro’s Abu Dhabi operations. Reporting to the Senior Project Manager or Project Director, the role ensures execution aligns with schedule, cost, quality and HSE requirements while coordinating engineering, procurement and construction activities.

Key responsibilities

• Own and manage the assigned project scope, ensuring compliance with contract requirements, technical specifications and approved procedures.
• Coordinate engineering deliverables, resolve technical queries, and support constructability and design optimisation.
• Monitor procurement of long‑lead items, track vendor deliverables and expedite inspections.
• Supervise fabrication yard and offshore site activities, overseeing productivity, progress and work quality.
• Support load‑out, transportation, offshore installation and commissioning activities.
• Track schedule performance in Level 3/4 schedules, identify delays and develop recovery plans.
• Monitor cost elements, compare budget versus actuals and identify opportunities for cost reduction.
• Manage interfaces between engineering, procurement and construction teams, ensuring timely resolution of cross‑package issues.
• Enforce HSE standards, permit‑to‑work systems and promote safe work practices.
