Project Manager – Banking & Payments

About the role

Join ADCB’s Global Business Services team as a Project Manager driving finance‑related initiatives, particularly in cards and payments. You will work with cross‑functional stakeholders to deliver projects that support the bank’s strategic growth and digital transformation.

Key responsibilities

• Lead group or sub‑group projects, define activities, set milestones and manage delivery teams to ensure successful implementation.
• Monitor progress, take corrective actions, and keep projects on budget and schedule.
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders and external vendors, issue RFPs, and manage vendor performance to meet budget and timeline goals.
• Maintain comprehensive project documentation and records for audit compliance.
• Conduct project meetings, provide updates, manage risks, and influence decisions to keep projects on track.
• Prepare and track project budgets, ensuring financial targets are met.

Required profile

• Minimum 10 years of experience in financial services, with a focus on independently managing cards‑related projects.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) or Scrum/Agile certification.
• Strong knowledge of banking products, core banking systems, and enterprise solutions.
• Experience in vendor management, business relationship management, and operational risk awareness.
