Project Manager – Building Construction

About the role

Al Marwan Group is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead the delivery of mega‑scale high‑rise building projects in Sharjah, UAE. The role covers the full project lifecycle from mobilisation through testing, commissioning and final handover.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage the complete lifecycle of high‑rise building construction projects, including deep excavation, dewatering, shoring, secant/diaphragm walls, raft foundations and superstructure works.
• Control project cost, programme, quality, HSE, resources and productivity to meet performance targets.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, subcontractors, suppliers and UAE authorities for approvals, inspections and NOCs.
• Manage budgets, cash flow, variations, value engineering and FIDIC‑based contractual requirements in partnership with the Commercial team.
• Develop site logistics strategies for tower cranes, material hoists, vertical transportation and concrete pumping systems.
• Monitor critical path, mitigate risks and ensure compliance with UAE construction regulations, HSE standards and quality specifications.
• Utilise Primavera P6 and MS Project for planning, scheduling and progress control; coordinate BIM activities for clash detection and sequencing.

Required profile

• Proven track record managing 50+ storey high‑rise buildings and complex deep‑basement structures in the UAE.
• Strong leadership and stakeholder‑management abilities.
• Extensive knowledge of UAE construction regulations, FIDIC contracts and HSE standards.
• Ability to lead multidisciplinary teams including Construction, MEP, QA/QC, HSE, Planning and Commercial.
