Project Manager – Civil Engineering (Hotel Construction)

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Project Manager to lead large‑scale luxury hotel construction projects in the UAE. The role requires a strong civil engineering background and a proven record of delivering hotel developments from inception to handover.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, execute, monitor and deliver hotel construction projects on time and within budget.
• Manage the full project lifecycle from mobilisation to final handover, including snagging, testing & commissioning.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, subcontractors, suppliers and internal teams.
• Develop and control project schedules, budgets and resource allocation using MS Project or Primavera P6.
• Ensure compliance with specifications, quality standards, local regulations and safety requirements.
• Handle commercial aspects such as variation orders, cost control and budget forecasting.
• Lead regular progress meetings, prepare status reports and mentor site engineers and construction staff.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (mandatory).
• 15‑20 years of construction experience, preferably with reputable main contractors in the UAE.
• Extensive experience managing luxury hotel projects in the UAE.
• Strong knowledge of UAE construction practices, authority regulations and project management methodologies.
• Proven ability to lead large multidisciplinary teams and manage contracts, procurement and planning.
